Coronado Island, a beautiful island with endless beaches and perfect weather

Beautifully located between San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean, the island of Coronado is a picturesque city with endless beaches and perfect sunny. This small island city is approximately 7.4 square miles in size and is adjacent to San Diego by the emblematic San Diego Coronado Bridge. The island is located next to the naval base in Coronado, which is a major facility housing a Naval Air Station and Naval Amphibious Base. Every year, millions of Coronado Island crowd to enjoy its beaches, hip restaurants, shops and many modern sports.

Because of the island, rich in history and the environment dazzling beach of the island is so aptly called the Crown City. It is filled with many recreational facilities for the entire family which include a swimming pool, the incredible 18 - holes of golf, a public marina, 19 tennis courts, bike paths and rollerblading and two theaters live.

An exclusive feature of Coronado city is its two boat rides, which are a ferry that cruises between the island and downtown San Diego and a gondola ride from Loews Coronado Beach Resort. Coronado city is also home to numerous parks such as Glorietta Bay Park, Tidelands Park, Continental Park and Spreckles Park.
