Air flights last minute - Using the Internet to find

by MyTravel on March 19, 2008

If you are looking for some last-minute flights, there is no better place than the Internet to find tickets, if possible. The airlines know perfectly well the scope of the Internet in the pursuit of their companies and, therefore, they spend a large portion of their resources to maintain their websites. In fact, one of the main bulk of their business is conducted through the websites of services. Thus, the Internet could be a very good option to check availability.

You must first directly visit the website of the airlines you are accustomed. If the airline tickets unsold or cancelled, then you are sure to find them on the site. They will be announced as caring for airline tickets because nobody will ever want to admit that they are saddled with last-minute tickets.

Kham, East Tibet

by MyTravel on March 19, 2008

The news was shocking! The ticket agent at the Shangri-la in the bus terminal Zhongdian, Yunnan Province was happy to tell me on several occasions, both in Chinese and in English, that yes, foreigners can now travel across the east of the Tibet Autonomous Region in Lhasa… land without permits! I could not believe what I heard, but rather than fall into the rapture, I more I have to take advantage of the new policy or continue as scheduled on my already-paid, the government has authorized a week tour across Kham In Lhasa. Ultimately, it would have been ridiculous for me not to choose the latter.

The decade-old Land Cruiser was surprisingly good condition, having raced 99 times across Tibet. We have implemented across northern Yunnan to the cliff Feilaisi, we find a staggering 4000 meters above sea level and nauseously breathtaking to spend the night at the roadside site Pilgrimage of chortens laundered in sun, wind-tattered prayer flags and a view of Mingyong Glacier.
